Sirsi: Four out of the seven people having lunch at a hotel were injured after a wall of a neighbouring hotel collapsed here near at Shivaji circle in Sirsi on Thursday afternoon.

The injured are identified as Jeetu Naik, Parameshwar, Nagesh, and Venkatesh Naik.

According to reports, due to continuous rain, the wall of the hotel had lost its strength and the cracks were felt over it, which as a result collapsed. Sources said that the repair work for the wall was undertaken, but unfortunately, it collapsed before work was completed.

The injured were rushed to the hospital and are getting the treatment done.

A case has been registered in Sirsi town police station.
