Sirsi: Sirsi Rural station police arrested three vehicle thieves and recovered a Mahindra Pickup vehicle they had stolen here recently.

The accused had stolen the vehicle when it was parked in front of Ekkambi Rice Mill in Sirsi taluk last month.

The accused were identified as Fasil Ahmed Khan (24), Barkat Ali Saab (35) and Jiaulla Saab (55) of Shikaripur in Shivamogga district. Another accused Shafi Hussain Saab (36) is absconding and a manhunt has been launched to trace him.

Jayaram Nayak of Ekkambi had lodged a complaint with the police that his Mahindra Pickup vehicle parked beside his house was stolen on May 13.
