Karwar: Three people suffered injuries when some acid used for cleaning toilets accidentally fell off, near Kadwad Forest check-post in Karwar taluk on Thursday.

A worker was carrying the acid in a bottle in a government bus to clean toilets of a gram panchayat.

However, the acid accidentally leaked from the bottle and three people including the man carrying it were injured. They were admitted to the district hospital for treatment.

A case in this regard has been registered with the police.
