Bhatkal: The results of the second year pre-university course examinations have been declared on 15th of April 2019. Girls have again outperformed boys this year also.

The students who clinched the title of toppers in Bhatkal taluk were Apeksha Murdeshwar of RNS PU College Murdeshwar with 97.66% in Science stream, while Humna of Anjuman PU College for Women Bhatkal with 95.6% in Arts stream, and Chaitra Mahale of New English PU College Bhatkal with 97.16% result in Commerece stream.

In Science stream, Apeksha Murdeshwar D/o Manoj Murdeshwar of RNS PU College, Murdeshwar secured 586 marks with a stunning 97.66%, securing the top position in Science stream in Bhatkal taluk and 2nd in Uttara Kannada district. Kavya Hegde of RNS PU College Murdeshwar scorted 96.66% and stood 2nd place and Sandeep Marathi of Siddharta PU College with 96.5%.

In Commerce stream, Chaitra Mahale of New English PU College, Bhatkal secured 97.16% and achieved first place in Taluk and 3rd ola e in Uttara Kannada. Prajwal Goli of Siddharta PU College secured 96.67% and stood 2nd place and Miss Aysha Sauada Ruknuddin D/o Shuaib Ruknuddin of Anjuman PU College for women secured 95.83 % and secured 3rd place in Bhatkal taluk.

In Arts stream, Humna D/o Dr. Samiullah Mulla of Anjuman Pre-university College for Women secured 95.60% in Arts stream and secured first place in Bhatkal Taluk and uttara kannada District, while Nusaina D/o Altaf Kobatte has secured 94.83 % and managed to acquire 3rd place in Uttara Kannada district, and Tanzeefa D/o Noor Mohammed Khan secured 92.30 % and stood 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Anjuman Pre-University College for Woman, Bhatkal (for girls) secured 86.19 % in PUC II examinations. 326 students had appeared for the exams, of which 281 have passed. Among them, 43 students have secured distinction and 184 have acquired first class. The Commerce department has secured 94.19% result, while the Science department secured 73.75% and the Arts department 84.6%. Toppers included Khatija Zuha D/o Abdur Rahman Ruknuddin who secured 95.16% in Science stream, Aysha Suada D/o Shuaib Ruknuddin with 95.83% in the Commerce stream and Humna Samiullah D/o Mulla Mohammed Samiullah who acquired 95.60% marks in Arts stream. All of the above are among the top mark scorers in their particular streams.

Siddartha PU College, Bhatkal has achieved 97% pass percentage. 38 student has secured distinction. A total of 189 students appeared in examination, 183 passed. Sandeep Marathi secured 96.5% and stood first in science stream, while Prajwal Goli scored 96.67% in commerce stream and stood first.

RNS PU College Murdeshwar achieved 91.6% in PU Examinations held this year. Out of 179 students 163 passed the exams. Apeksha Manoj Murdeshwar secured 97.66% in the Science stream and Gayatri Haller secured 92.16% in the Commerce stream.

Anand Ashram Composite PU College, Bhatkal secured 92.85% in Science and 98.07% in Commerce. Keerthana scored ahead with (91.66) in Science stream and Firaz S D’Souza topped with 95.5% in commerce stream.

The New English Pre-University College, Bhatkal  secured 95.10 pass percentage. Out of 184 students 175 passed the exams. 40 Distinction and 102 first class. The science department secured 95.34%, Commerce stream 99.06% and Arts stream 82.35%. In the Science stream, Maruti Naik topped with 95.16% marks, Irranna Doshagar from Arts Stream secured 90.66% and Chaitra Mahale from Commerce stream secured 97.16%.

National Pre-University College, Murdeshwar secured 76.31%. In girls section passing percentage is 95.65%, 23 students appeared, 22 have passed. 11 disticntion and 9 first class. Whereas in boys section, 46.66% is the pass percentage. Fathima Varda D/o parvez Ahmed Hegde topped with scoring 94.16% , Vamiqua D/o Abdus Samad Quazi 91.33% and Hurnain S/o Sajjad Ahmed Hajeeb secured 90.83% in Commerce and remained tops.

Janata Vidyalaya PU college, Shirali has scored 75% of pass result in PU examination. In Arts stream, college secured 70%, Commerce section secured 80%. Yoshada Nagappa Naik scored 525 marks with 87.50% in Arts and Nagaratna Nagappa Naik scored 545 marks with 90.83% marks and stood top in College. 

Beena Vaidya PU College, Murdeshwar has scored 96% of pass result in PU examination. Darshan Laxman Gowda topped in the college by scoring 94.83% in Science stream and Ashwini Naik secured 90.50 % in Science stream.

Anjuman Pre-University College, Bhatkal (for boys): Commerce section secured 70.10%, Science section 69.09%, while Arts section 50%. Yusuf Ahmed S/o Mohammed Aslam Ali Akbara of Commerce stream stood top in college with scoring 89.16% marks, while Mr. Ubada Barmawar S/o Mohammed Zakriya Barmawar of Science stream secured 85.83% and Abdul Ruaman S/o Abdul Waheed Maniyar secured 70.5% marks in Arts stream.

Government Pre-university College, Bhatkal secured result of 60.4% in PU examinations this year. Dinesh Naik stood first by securing 75% in commerce stream, Divya Marathi in Arts stream scored 74.6% and Sushma M Naik with 74.8% in Science stream.
