Bhatkal: The results of the second year pre-university course examinations have been declared on Tuesday, 14th July. Girls have again outperformed boys this year also.

The students who clinched the title of toppers in Bhatkal taluk were Zainab D/o Syed Usman Barmawar of Anjuman PU College for Women, Bhatkal and Dhanalaxmi R Moger of New English PU College Bhatkal with 97.00% in Science stream, while Sakina Alfa D/o Abdul Kareem Khan of Anjuman PU College for Women Bhatkal with 93% in Arts stream, and Aisha Fiza D/o Mohammed Fazal Khan and Mohiddin Asbah S/o Abu Mohammed Fareeda of Anand Ashram Composite PU College, Bhatkal with 97.66% result in Commerce stream.

Anjuman Pre-University College for Woman, Bhatkal (for girls) secured 88.63 % in PUC II examinations. 308 students had appeared for the exams, of which 273 have passed. Among them, 61 students have secured distinction and 163 have acquired first class. The Commerce Department has secured 91.5% result, while the Science department secured 87% and the Arts department 83.7%. 

Science stream: Zainab D/o Syed Usman Barmawar secured 97% and stood 1st place, while Aysha Shingeri D/o Shaheen Mohammed Umer secured 95.16% and Najdah D/o Mubeen Ahmed Ikkery secured 92.5% and stood second and third respectively.

Commerce Stream: Nimra D/o Nadeem Ahmed Shabandri scored 97.10%, Husna Gazal D/o Mohammed Azeem Najeeb secured 97.00%, and Fathima Sabha D/o Mohiddin Damda 96.80% stood first, second and third respectively.

Arts Stream: Sakina Alfa D/o Abdul Kareem Khan secured 93.00%, Bibi Sara D/o Abdul Azeem Syed Husaina 92.01% and Aysha Riha D/o Syed Abubaker 91.50% and stood top in Arts stream at college.

Siddartha PU College, Bhatkal has achieved 96.33% pass percentage.
A total of 273 students appeared in the examination, 263 have passed. 90 students have secured distinction. 

Darshan D Naik scored 96.5% marks in Science stream, while Diksha Naik scored 94% in Commerce and stood top in college.

RNS PU College Murdeshwar achieved 87.00% in PU Examinations held this year. Out of 128 students, 111 passed the exams. 

The college has scored in 64% in Arts stream, 87% in Commerce stream, and 93% in Science stream.

Kumar Alsan Babu secured 94% in the Science stream, Ramaya Gowda secured 92% in the Commerce stream, while Poornima Naik in Arts stream scored 74%.

Anand Ashram Composite PU College, Bhatkal secured  95.29%  in PU examination. While 93% in commerce and 97.61% in Science stream. Out of 85 students, 81 passed the exams, 25 Distinctions. 
Aysha Fiza and Mohiddin Asbah scored 586 marks with 97.66% in Commerce stream and stood top in college.

Mohammed Rabea Qamri S/o Bilal Qamri scored 557 marks with 92.83% in Science stream and top in college.

The New English Pre-University College, Bhatkal secured 97.28% pass percentage. Out of 221 students, 215 passed the exams. 51 Distinction and 143 First class. The science and Commerce stream secured 100% pass results, and Arts stream 81.88%. 

In the Science stream, Dhanalaxmi R Moger topped with 97% marks and Ranjita Ramesh Bhat from Commerce stream secured 97.33% and Nagartana Manjappa naik from Arts Stream secured 92% and topped in college.

National Pre-University College, Murdeshwar secured 78.13% in Pre-University examination. Total 32 students appeared for the exam, out of 25 have passed. 8 distinction and 12 first class. 

Aysha Muskaan D/o Musaddiq Ahmed Khattal topped with scoring 95.66%, Urba Qirath D/o Mohammed Aqeeb 95.5% and Zarifa Sarwar D/o Mohammed Nasir Gaima 93.66% in Commerce and remained tops.

Anjuman Pre-University College, Bhatkal (for boys) secured 79.60 % in PU examination this year. Out of 152 students, 121 have passed the examination. 

Mohammed Rehan S/o Abdur Raheem scored 89.50% in Commerce stream, Mohammed Hussain S/o Maaz Kola secured 84.16% in science stream and Darshan Ganpayya Gouda secured 90.00% in Arts stream.

 
Janata Vidyalaya PU college, Shirali has scored 84% of pass result in PU examination. In the Arts stream, the college secured 76%, Commerce section secured 90%. 

Sushma B Naik scored 87.33 % in Arts stream and Chaitra M scored 87.33% in Commerce and stood the first position in college, while Vimala R Gonda 87.16% and Sujatha Devadiga 84.33% scored and stood second and third place respectively.

Beena Vaidya PU College, Murdeshwar has scored 86% of pass result in PU examination. Kumar Ankit Pai topped in the college by scoring 94.5% in Commerce stream, while Kumar Ganesh Naik 94.16% and Roshini Shaikh 91.83% respectively stood second and third.

In the science stream, Rajesh Gowda scored 93.5%, Sharavan Gowda 92.33% and stood first and second place in college.

Government Pre-university College, Bhatkal secured a result of 60% in PU examinations this year. Santosh S Marathi stood first by securing  77.5% marks in Arts stream, Ranjita Ganapati in Commerce stream scored 83% and Suhana Shabbir with 76.5% in Science stream.

Government college Bhatkal secured 100% pass result in the science stream.
