Mangaluru: The Mangaluru police seized 25 loads of sand stored illegally on a vacant land at Kannur on the outskirts of the city on Saturday.

The seized sand was handed over to the officials from the Mines and Geology Department for further action.

The raid was carried out under the guidance of Mangaluru South Division ACP Rama Rao.
