Udupi: Covid-19 cases in Udupi continue to surge with the district recording 225 cases on Monday.

According to officials, the total cases in the district stands at 3,613. There are 1,415 active cases, undergoing treatment at hospitals and home isolation.

As many as 42 persons with the symptoms of Influenza-like Illness (ILI), Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI), and Covid suspects have been admitted to isolation wards for observation.

A total of 223 samples have been collected from the suspected patients on Monday. The district has tested 28,150 samples so far.
