Gokarna: Police, on Thursday, arrested two youths on charges of possessing Charas, a drug, near Paradise Beach in Gokarna.

The accused have been identified as Roshan Rohidas Dongre (28), a resident of Navi Mumbai and Vandit Narayan Vivek Tyagi (21), a resident of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.The duo had 17.2 gram of Charas worth around Rs 5,000. They had come to Gokarna on Thursday.

The police conducted the operation under the guidance of PSI Santoshkumar M. The accused were produced before the court.
