Udupi: Udupi district recorded 190 Covid-19 cases on Friday. The district has 1,096 active cases with patients undergoing treatment at various hospitals. As many as 499 are under home isolation.

As many as 88 patients recovered and were discharged on Friday. Further, 38 persons with the symptoms of SARI, ILI and Covid suspects have been admitted to isolation wards for treatment in the district.

Among the 190 positive cases, 78 were women. Udupi topped the list of taluks with 99 people testing positive.
