1731 students to appear for 2nd PU English exam in Bhatkal on June 18

Bhatkal: As many as 1731 students will appear for 2nd PUC English exam scheduled on June 18, which was delayed due to the Coronavirus Lockdown. Four examination centers have been set up in Bhatkal in this regard, in which, 830 students will appear exams at Anjuman PU College, 426 students in The New English PU College, 176 students in Janata Vidyalaya, Shirali, and 299 students in RNS PU College, Murdeshwar. 

The exam will start sharp at 10:15 AM, but students are asked to arrive at their respective examination centers one hour in advance. Every student will be subjected to thermal scanning before entering the examination center. Masks are mandatory for every student.  Similarly, other arrangements have been made for which the government has appointed 180 personnel to serve.

The taluka administration has been working tirelessly to conduct the examinations in a smoother way. Security arrangements are being made in the examination centers, cleanliness is being maintained, all the centers are being sanitized, and students have been asked not to be afraid of anything. A meeting was also held on Tuesday under the leadership of Tahsildar R Ravi Chandra regarding the preparations for the examination, where all the arrangements were reviewed. It has been informed that police officers including health officers will be present at every examination center throughout the day.
