Karwar: A total of 117 people contracted the infection in the district on Saturday, taking the total positives to 2716.

As many as 43 cases were recorded in Karwar, 37 in Haliyal and Dandeli, 16 in Honnavar, 11 in Mundagod, five in Bhatkal, three in Ankola, and two in Sirsi.

A total of 110 people are being treated under house-isolation, while 735 have been
admitted to designated Covid hospitals across the district. 

On Saturday, 69 people walked out of the designated Covid hospital, following their recovery.
