Bhatkal: Bhatkal forest division officials arrested 11 poachers, who allegedly killed a wild boar, at Belalakhanda forest area in Bhatkal taluk on Wednesday. According to sources, the arrested are from Shikaripura in Shivamogga district. They along with some others poached two wild boars. They were caught while transporting carcasses in their mini truck. Forest officials also seized the mini truck and carcasses of wild boars. Four other poachers fled the spot and hunt is on for them.
