Karwar: Police, on Saturday, arrested Gajanan Bhandari of Forest Colony in Honnavar taluk for sending instigating messages.

He used to send instigating message on the Whatsapp number of Block Congress Honnavar unit president Jagdeep Tengeri.

"Even during the death of Paresh Mesta, such instigating messages had been sent and that had given rise to communal violence. Now again, instigating messages are being circulated with similar motive," said Jagdeep Tengeri in a complaint lodged with the police.
