Sirsi: Social Welfare Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary stated that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai would be visiting Karwar in the second week of August. If the place is finalised in Kumta, he will make an official announcement about the establishment of a super speciality hospital.
Speaking to media persons during his visit to the town for the BJP district executive meeting on Wednesday, the minister said, the chief minister may tour the Uttara Kannada district either on August 7 or 8 and take part in various programmes.
The deputy commissioner has been directed to identify at least 15-acre of land in Kumta for the construction of a super speciality hospital.
