Yellapur: A 57-year-old woman suffering for health complications committed suicide at her house near Umachagi in Yellapur taluk here on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Lakshmi Narasingh Shetty, resident of the village. Family members said that Lakshmi was suffering from Diabetes and BP and was upset over her deteriorating health. She hung herself from the ceiling of the house.

 A case has been registered at Yellapur police station.
