Mangaluru: In broad daylight, two youth snatched a gold chain weighing 16 grams from Rajeshwari in Padavinangady on Thursday.

Rajeshwari, in her complaint to the police, said the youth snatched her chain while she was returning home near Koragajja Katte after dropping her daughter at a tuition centre. The police said they were looking at the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity to get clues on the identity of chain-snatchers. They suspect that the chain-snatchers also are involved in similar cases earlier.
