BENGALURU: Facing flak from the opposition for not visiting homes of the two Muslim murder victims in Dakshina Kannada - Masood B and Mohammed Fazil - chief minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said he would do so soon.
Both Congress and JD(S) had alleged that Bommai, as CM, was displaying bias by visiting the home of murdered BJP worker Praveen Nettaru and announcing compensation, while ignoring the other two. They also claimed the government was biased even after handing over the probe to National Investigation Agency.
In Davanagere, Bommai said police are not treating investigations of the three murders differently. "We are investigating all the three murders in a swift manner and will ensure justice to all families," he said.
