Bhatkal: Sneha Pandu Naik, student of Civil Engineering department at Anjuman Institute of Technology & Management, Bhatkal, topped the institute in the 8th semester examinations held on August. Sneha managed to occupy the top position by scoring 658 marks out of total 700, by obtaining SGPA of 9.65.
The toppers from other branches are - Nishad Parveen S M Jaffer (Marks: 635/700, SGPA: 9.50) from Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Yogita Parameshwar Bhandari (Marks: 625/700, SGPA: 8.85) from Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Vishal Peter Fernandes (Marks: 624/700, SGPA: 9.05) from Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Royston M Louis (Marks: 622/700, SGPA: 9.33) from Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Sajida HM Kasim (Marks: 559/700, SGPA: 8.05) from Department of Information Science & Engineering.
It shall be noted that the total of 149 students had appeared for the exams, among which 142 passed. The pass percentage resulted with 95.3%. As many as 122 students passed with First Class with Distinction results, 18 with only First Class and 02 with second class results.
Branchwise Results: 100% Results in 3 Branches - Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, 97.2% in Computer Science & Engineering, 96% in Mechanical Engineering and 89% in Civil Engineering
