Siddapur: A day long holiday turned into a life-taking incident for two students in Siddapur, after they had been for swimming in a Burude falls at Siddapur, that reported on 26th January, thursday.

The deceased students has been identified as Punit (20) and Guru (21), both students of final year Government diploma college in Siddapur.

Sources say that, on the occasion of republic day holiday, a group of six friends were out for a swimming at Burude falls when this incident reported.

With the help of fire brigade team, both the dead bodies were traced and pulled out. In this regard, a case has been registered in Siddapur police station and further investigations are on.
