Uppinangady: A man was killed and four others suffered injuries in an accident between a KSRTC bus and a car at Kolpe on National Highway near Nelyadi on Sunday.

The deceased is Ashok Reddy (42) of Anekal in Bengaluru.

The injured are Rajappa Reddy (40), Muni Reddy (45), Prashanth (50) and Muniyamma (55).

The injured are recuperating at a hospital in Mangaluru. All the people in the car belong to a same family and were travelling to Mangaluru to pay the college fee of a student.
