Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday said the Central ministry was reshuffled due to the BJP leaders’ inefficiency.

Siddaramaiah told reporters in Bengaluru that Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda was "demoted” twice, because he was "inefficient”. 

Siddaramaiah was reacting to the portfolio allotment to certain ministers following reshuffle of the Central ministry. He said that earlier too, Gowda had been stripped of the Railways portfolio, and was handed the Law and Parliamentary Affairs ministry. 

"This time too, he has been given a less important portfolio,” said Siddaramaiah, adding that it was not just Gowda, but all state BJP leaders were inefficient administrators. Gowda is currently the Minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation, in the Narendra Modi Cabinet.
