Udupi: Two youths were killed when a car which ran over as they were writing happy new year on the road at near karkalla on Friday.

Police said the deceased were identified as sharan (32) and siddu(28) both hails from bagalkote . The incident occurred due were writing happy new on the road when speedy car ran over them. both were working as JCB drivers.

Karkalla police visited the spot and a case has been registered in this connection.
