Udupi: The Samvidhan Rakshak Samiti has postponed its proposed indefinite hunger strike, planned on the lines of Shaheen Bagh, to condemn CAA and NRC, after police declined to issue permission on Saturday.

Last minute preparations were done to carry out the protest in front of private land of a mosque in Udupi.

The organisers have expressed their disappointment over the denial of permission for the protest.
