Udupi: An industrialist died on spot after the car in which he was travelling by hit a private bus, on its way to Karkala from Udupi, at Guddeyangadi on Monday.

The deceased is identified as 62-year-old Krishna Pai. He was on his way to Udupi from Karkala when the tragedy took place. Sources in Hiriyadka Police Station told DH that Pai was on the wrong side and rammed the bus.

A case is registered against the deceased in the Hiriyadka police station.
