Udupi:  A third year BA student ended her life by suicide near her house, after her brother allegedly scolded her for remaining glued to her mobile phone, on Saturday.

Police said Keerthana (20) was spending more time on her mobile phone. Shashi Kiran, enraged her addiction, had reportedly scolded her that she would not be sent to college. An upset Keerthana ended her life by hanging. An unnatural death report was registered at the Karkala Rural Police Station.
