Udupi: In an accident which occurred at Udyavar on NH-66, an Innova car hit the bus from behind, as a result one person died while three were severely injured. The accident happened on 4th September, Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammed Mirshad (20 yrs) from Uppala. Mirshad was an employee at a local garment shop.
According to sources, the bus was moving to Kaup from Udupi when an Innova car with Maharashtra registration rammed into it from behind when the bus stopped for passengers to get down at Udyavar.
It is believed that the persons traveling in the car are from North Kerala as a driving license was found in the car with an address from Kerala.
All the four have been admitted in a hospital. Police are investigating the matter.
