Mangaluru: Udupi District Deputy Commissioner (DC) G Jagadeesha, who is heading the magisterial inquiry into violence on the December 19, 2019 which led to police firing, causing the death of two people, on Friday requested for more time, till May 23 to submit the final report.

He said that the COVID-19 lockdown has caused a delay in conducting the hearing, submission of the documents by the police and verification of the records.
