Mangaluru: The police on Tuesday seized three trucks allegedly transporting sand to Kerala and arrested two drivers.

A police team, headed by Ullal Police Inspector Gopikrishna, intercepted the trucks at Talapady on National Highway 66 and arrested the accused. One of the truck drivers fled from the spot, the police said.

According to the sources, the trucks were filled with sand which were being transported illegally. The trucks were seized by the Ullal police.
