Three students rescued while drowning in Murdeshwar sea

Bhatkal: Lifeguards at Murdeshwar beach rescued three tourists from drowning on Sunday evening. All the three tourists are the residents of Bengaluru.

It is learned that a group of nine students studying in Bangalore College had come to Murdeshwar on a picnic. After visiting the Murdeshwar temple, the students went on to play in the sea, during which there were high tides in the sea that began to drown three among them. However, observed this by the lifeguard team, with the help of the local fishermen, immediately rushed and rescued the drowning students.

The three have been identified as Satvik Chikballapur (19), Adarsh ​​Chikballapur (19) and Naveen Chikballapur (19) of Bangalore VIT Engineering College. 

Lifeguards personnel who were involved in the operation included Jairam Harikant, Shashidhar Naik, fishermen Parsu Harikant and Santosh Harikant.
