Karwar: Demanding announcement of results of ITI examinations which was conducted in 2014, parents and students of Bidad Government ITI staged protest infront of DC’s office, in Karwar, on Monday,

The students are saying that as the results were not announced, they were finding difficult to find jobs and go for higher studies.

According to protesters, ITI has not announced the result of fourth semester fitter department. Though, the matter was brought to the notice of the Education Commissioner, till date there is no response from them.

Students who are opting for jobs are unable to produce educational certificates and hence, losing job opportunities. Those going for higher studies are undergoing same pain, they said.

What right has ITI fails to announce result in a week’s time, they will be forced to launch indefinite protest.
