Haliyal: To curb the spread of novel Coronavirus in the region, Haliyal Municipality sterilized the streets in the town. 

The nation is under lockdown since late March to curb the spread of Covid-19 and the citizens have been told to stay at home. As a precautionary measure, the streets were sprayed with disinfectant with the help of fire brigade personnel and civic workers to sterilize against Covid-19.

On this occasion, Municipality chief officer Keshav Chaugule said that by sterilizing main roads and residential areas, the spread of the virus can be restrained.
