Sirsi: Police have arrested two persons in connection with theft reported at the residence of Bhaskar Madgaonkar at Ayappanagar in the town under new market police station limits.

The arrested Harish Naik (22) of Market Road and Imran Iqbal Ahmed Savannur (19) of Kasturba nagar, had stolen gold ornaments form the house. Police have recovered gold worth Rs 2.43 lakh from the arrested.
