Bhatkal: In view of the Kannada Rajyotsava on 1st November in the state, preparations are under full swing by the district administration for grand celebrations. Meanwhile, the pro-Kannada organizations are also actively participating to make the celebration a grand success. 

As part of the occasion, this year, the Shamsuddin circle, located in the heart of the city, has been beautifully decorated with red and yellow flags and colorful lightings in reference to Rajyotsava in Bhatkal.

It is learnt, the initiative of decorating of Shamsuddin circle has undertaken by Asarkiri Bhuneshwari Kannada Sangha, which is an attraction for commuters and passersby through the city. The view becomes even more attractive in night hours due to the colourful lightings.
