Mangalore: Two pimps who were part of a hi-tech prostitution racket that operated from a lodge at K S Rao Road in Mangalore were arrested by the CCB Police on 30th January, Monday.

Two mobile phones, an auto rickshaw and a cash amount of Rs 12.5k have been recovered from them. The value of seized goods is estimated to be as Rs 1,64,500. It is learnt, that the duo used to lure customers through a website and once the latter arrived at the lodge they used to strike a deal with them.

The raid led by CCB Inspector Sunil Y Nayak followed a tip off.The accused were arrested near the old bus stand area in the city.

The duo has been handed over to the Bunder Police for further interrogation.
