Kundapur: A rider was killed in a serial accident involving a bike and two cars that took place at Mowady Cross in Kundapur on Friday.

The deceased is identified as Sukumar Devadiga (44) from Hosadu village. He was returning home when the accident occurred.

A car first rammed another car that was driven by one Nagaraj. The car then rear-ended the bike being ridden by Sukumar. Due to the impact, Sukumar fell on the road and was injured in the head. He was also profusely bleeding.

Though Sukumar was shifted to a nearby hospital, the doctors declared him dead on arrival. A case is registered by Gangolli police station under sections 279 and 304 A of IPC.
