Shivamoga: Sagar taluk is reeling under the H1N1 viral influenza. 11 positive cases of the flu were reported in the past week.

Of the 11, 7 cases are from Keladi village while 4 were reported in Anandapuram village. K.P. Achyuth, Taluk Health Officer, told The Hindu, all the 11 patients are on the path to recovery and their health conditions are being closely monitored. A separate ward to treat H1N1 patients has been opened at Taluk General Hospital in Sagar.
