Karwar: "People should take precautionary measures to safeguard themselves from microbial diseases like chicken gunya, dengue, and malaria during the rainy season,"advised Municipal President Ganapathi Naik.
He has also ordered municipal workers to add chlorines and clean drinking water wells and has directed hotels to cover food stuffs properly, maintain cleanliness and clean water storage equipment’s regularly.
He has advised the public not to drink water from wells of flood affected areas and drink Halogen tablet added water and boiled water.
