Kumta: In a press release held by the members of Kumta's Raviraj Sports Club at a private hotel here in Kumta on 1st December, thursday, it was declared that the upcoming 'Hard tennis-ball' T20 cricket tournament shall be played from 18th December, which will be lasting till 25th December. 

Speaking to the media people, the president of Raviraj Sports club, Nitin Naik, ensured that this tourney will be played with the participants of 24 consecutive teams. The Champions team of the tourney will be awarded with a trophy and a cash amount of Rs. 70,777. While, the runner's up will be lifting trophy and a cash amount of Rs. 40,444. Finally, third place winning team will be awarded with cash amount of Rs. 3,333.

Further, he continued saying that, Simultaneously at alternate days, there will be entertaining games conducted in order to encourage the public. In this regard, on 23rd December, slow bike racing will be conducted. On 24th December, slow cycling for the students will be conducted and On 25th December, kite flying competition will be held. It maybe noted that, the entire tournament, followed by the different games will be played at taluka stadium i.e in Manki ground in Kumta.

On the occasion, Nitin Naik, president of Raviraj Sports club; Maruti Naik, Vice-president of club; Vinayak Pai, Treasurer of club; Devendra Gouda, Secretary; Chetan Shet, media people among many others were present during the press conference.
