Bengaluru: As many as 6,57,096 children under 5 years will be administrated polio drops at 4,440 centres across the state on Sunday.

To reach out to children in high-risk areas, a total of 2,445 centres will be set up at construction sites and slums.

Kalavati A L, reproductive and child health officer (RCHO), BBMP, said: "Polio drops will be administered at government hospitals, BBMP hospitals, primary health centres, nursing home and private hospitals like St. John's Hospital, Command Hospital and Sagar Hospitals. Volunteers will be present at major bus stands, railway stations, trains, markets, shopping malls and toll gates." The door-to-door campaign will begin from April 3.
