Honnavar: A major fire broke out on Thursday at Konkeri Majare in Kadtoka village in Honnavar taluk due to which property worth lakhs of rupees reduced to ashes.

According to sources, The house belonging to Hegde family, besides arecanut and coconut trees, cash and other valuables turned into ashes in the accidental fire.
