Bhatkal: Deputy Commissioner Harishkumar said that the pregnant woman from Bhatkal who was infected with Covid-19 and was being treated at a hospital in Udupi has recovered.

She will be discharged from the hospital in another three to four days. The health of her husband, who is also Covid-19 positive, is stable and he may be discharged from INHS Patanjali Hospital in Karwar in another week's time.

Luckily, all the five primary contacts of the couple have tested negative for Covid-19.
