Bhatkal: The BJP has appointed  Pradeep Pai, managing director of the famous 'Hangyo' ice cream, as the state convener for its Industrial cell. BJP state president Nalin Kumar Katil has announced the names of conveners for 15 different cells of the state's Bharatiya Janata Party, including Pradeep Pai.

The BJP Industrial Cell promotes small and large scale industrialization in the state. It assesses the prospects and formulates plans and proposals for industrial developments.
