The two day long workshop ended today. Youngsters around the age of 18-23 had participated from different sport centres of Bhakal.
Ram Puniyani is known for spreading the message of peace and amity through lectures, publications, workshops and meetings and by travelling extensively to different parts of the country spreading messages of secularism. His lectures focus on the need for national integration and communal harmony.
Puniyani delivered his speech in an engaging manner where he interacted with the audience and made it more memorable. The main key points in his speech were about communal violence. According to him, “Violence occurs when there is hatred inside a person and in the end an innocent person gets affected and hurt regardless of whether they are Muslim, Hindu, Christians as in the end what matters is that they are humans”.
He also said, “The beauty of India is that it has a tradition of togetherness since its history and it respects all religions”. He gave an example of how different saints like Nizamuddin Auliya, Kabir, Narsinh Mehta strived to unite humanity irrespective of their religions.
His message to Bhatkali youths was that to participate communal peace in their society.
