Bhatkal: The second day of the lockdown in Bhatkal witnessed panic-buying as people rushed to buy essential commodities including vegetables, Fruit in Market early.

Since early morning, public queued up at vegetable markets in Bhatkal to purchase essential items including vegetables, pulses and milk. 

Shops selling fish and meat were remained closed.

Police personnel initiated strict action against motorists venturing onto the road without any purpose.
