Udupi: A pedestrian was killed after he was knocked down by a tempo at Uliyargoli, Kothalkatte in Kaup on NH-66 on Thursday.

The police said that the deceased is Sunder (55).

It is learnt that Sunder was walking by the road when the accident occurred. The tempo was heading towards Udupi from Kaup. He succumbed to injuries in the hospital. 

A case has been registered in Kaup police station.
