Sirsi: In a grisly road accident, that reported between two KSRTC buses in the early hours of 7th December, Wednesday, one person was declared dead on the spot, while seven other passengers are said to be receiving grievous injuries to their bodies. The incident took place in the mid of Sirsi-Siddapur highway across nanikatta village belonging to Siddapur taluk. 

All grievously injured victims of the incident were immediately shifted to Sirsi govt hospital for initial treatments.

As per the information, it was studied that, during the incident, both the busses were plying speedily. One was on the way towards Sirsi from Bangalore, while other was on the way towards Bangalore from Sirsi. Both busses belonged KSRTC. The impact of collision made the front portion of both the busses attain complete damage.
