Udupi: Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha on Wednesday clarified that no one from the District had participated in the Tablighi Jamaat Conference in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area.

In a video message to media on Wednesday, Mr Jagadeesha said that ''some electronic media has beamed news that 16 people from Udupi district had participated in the religious congregation in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area but the fact is the news is far from the truth. People should not panic in this matter''.
