Bhatkal: A Volvo bus service to and from Karwar to Mangalore was started today, Saturday. The bus will leave Karwar at 6:45 AM and reach Bhatkal at 9:30 AM. After stopping for two or three minutes, the bus will then leave for Mangalore and reach at 11:45 AM.

The same bus will leave Mangalore at 4:30 PM from State Bank bus stop, and pass through Udupi and Kundapur and reach Bhatkal at 7:00 PM, and will reach Karwar at 9:15 PM via Honnavar, Kumta and Ankola.

Earlier, a Volvo bus service was also started from Kumta to Mangalore, which leaves Kumta at 5:30 AM and reaches Bhatkal at 7 AM. The bus stops in Bhatkal bus stand for two or three minutes and leaves for Mangalore.

It may be recalled that after the outbreak of Coronavirus, many bus services were suspended, including that of Volvo bus service from Bhatkal to Mangalore. Now with the launch of new bus service from Kumta and Karwar to Mangalore, the people of Bhatkal will also be able to avail these services.
