Karwar: Prabhulinga Kavalikatti assumed charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada on Monday.

Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of Hatti Gold Mines Company.

Outgoing Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan has been appointed as the Commissioner of Youth Empowerment & Sports Department, Bengaluru. The State government issued the transfer orders on October 21.
