Bengaluru: With the reporting of the fresh 9886 cases of COVID-19 disease, the total number of persons infected with the coronavirus surged to 630516 in Karnataka on Saturday.
According to official sources, the total number of deaths due to the COVID-19 disease rose to 9219 with the reporting of 100 fresh deaths in the last 24-hour in the state.
The sources also revealed that in the last 24-hour as many as 8989 Covid-19 patients got discharged
in various hospitals after being completely cured from the disease.
Bengaluru Urban district registered fresh 3925 cases in the last 24-hours followed by other districts,
Bagalakote 88, Ballari 253, Belagavi 258, Bengaluru Rural 283, Bidar 14, Chamarajanagara 179, Chikkaballapura 234, Chikkamagaluru 175, Chitradurga 76, Dakshina Kannada 258, Davanagere 129, Dharwada 98, Gadag 32, Hassana 460, Haveri 71, Kalaburagi 107, Kodagu 37, Kolara 20, Koppala 98, Mandya 206, Mysuru 1514, Raichuru 199, Ramanagara 58, Shivamogga 337, Tumakuru 302, Udupi 158, Uttara Kannada 92, Vijayapura 97 and Yadagiri 128.
The number of people, who were subjected for COVID-19 tests in the last 24-hours recorded with 84922 including 36514 of the Rapid Antigen Detection Test.
The sources also revealed that the number of patients got admitted into ICU beds accounts for 841 in the COVID-19 designated hospitals.
